Germany's largest dam is the venue for the Hovercraft Championship.
Of 12 to 16 September 2012 will meet the world's elite media and spectators for this highly attractive sport in the Thuringian Saalburg Bleilochtalsperre. In a scenic environment, the masters can be determined in the various World Cup classes - from Formula 1 to the junior class -.
Hovercraft - the motorsport is on land and at sea. In the Champions League, Formula 1, the pilots get their race cars at speeds of 185 km/h. The hovercraft speed in four seconds from zero to 100 km/h, hovering like a car and drive like an airplane. These races are for the audience just as spectacular as a race car.
